Dealership: "$800 to replace primary cooling fan motor and fan blade"
My AC hasnt worked all summer and I just got back from the dealership and they confirmed what I assumed, which was a faulty fan. The one cooling fan does not work and the motor needs to be replaced and was recommended the blade too since they "tend to warp" when seized up for a while in hot conditions.
Is anyone aware of a thread detailing how to access and/or remove the cooling fan motors? I wanna do this myself and my searches just informed me that its easier to reach the fans from the bottom rather than the top.
Im just looking for some more detailed info before a get under there poking around

Which fan are you talking about here? The rad fan? Not sure where there's a fan on the AC... here's the info for the rad fans:

perfect, thats what i need. Its the fan on the driver's side. The issue is that it doesn't kick on and causes the high pressure side of my AC to shoot over 400, thus causing the ac compressor to shut off.
Thanks!
Thanks!
