Custom Turbo kit??
So here's the deal. I've got the stock TD04 turbo from the WRX I used to have.
Approximately how much would it cost to get this thing bolted up an tuned on my 8?
Any one else ever do anything like this?
I'd need: injectors, intercooler, bypass valve, piping....... what else?

Stock subie turbo is too small.
check out the FS thread in my sig for information on parts needed. i built my own kit from scratch as have a few other members here. expect to pay about $4K+ if you build your own kit.

you're going to need a lot.
first off, you'll need to look at flow charts to see if that particular turbo would even be efficient enough to run on our car.
what hp are you looking for?
what are your goals for the car? street car? track car? auto x ? dyno queen?
budget?
where are you to mount the turbo? you'll need a manifold and depending on whether your'e going top mount or not, that changes a few things.
take a look around in the major horsepower subforum and you'll get a better idea of what is required.
Personally I wouldn't boost an RX-8 until you've addressed things such as Ignition, cooling, and engine management.

Boostin'
As said a subie turbo is way too small. What all is currently done to your vehicle?
Expect to do a ignition upgrade, clutch, exhaust system, ecu, injectors, fuel pump, fmic etc... It takes a lot of parts...
