Cooling question?

I have been thinking of upgrading my radiator on my car just to help out with the cooling of the motor. What are your thoughts of also using a cooler thermostat and a larger electric fan instead? Or using them all in conjunction?

I want to do this for when I go FI it would be nice to have this already done.

Thanks.

cheap way i boosted the cooling in the miata :

-Swaped to the radiator for an automatic miata (not sure if there is a difference bettween the MT/AT rx8 radiator) in the miata, the auto radiator had 2x the fins per inch as my MT radiator.
-Put in a lower thermostat (stock 196*F i think) i put in a 180*F
-Wired the fans (2 elec fans) to run together.
-Put in a mix of distilled water with a bottle of watter wetter
-swaped the radiator cap (1.0 bar stock) to a 1.5bar

If you aren't already, try running synthetic oil.

It's claimed (see, e.g. Kaufman's "Motor Oil Bible" www.MotorOilBible.com and other sources), the smaller, uniform structure of synthetic based oils allow them to "run" as much as 40º F cooler than petroleum based oil in the same application,
