Cooling Fans 1&2 operation Temp

If someone will help me to clarify this matter I would appreciate.

So...

Just Checking the Water Temps and the operation of the Cooling Fans. I have found what racing beat has stated the following about the pcm reflash

Cooling Fans - We lowered the ON temperatures for the electric cooling fans to improve engine cooling and avoid water temperature spikes. #1 fan now turns on at 87 degrees C (stock - 97 C) and #2 fan turns on at 90 degrees C (stock - 101 C).

1) From the statement above (apart from the modification that RB provided with the flash) I understand that in a stock RX-8 #1 fan turns on - 97 C and #2 fan turns on - 101 C. So the period from 97C till 100C only #1 fan turns and the other fans remain idle until temp will reach till. 101C where the second motor turns on.

Is this correct?

2) In the workshop-manual they are referring that both fans start simultaneously at low speeds above 97C and as the temp increases the both fans rotating at high speeds

Is this correct?

Which of the above is true?

they have a list of the fan's turn on temp and speed in the manual.

when it reach 101 C, both fans will be on at high speed.

So if someone can help me , with the readings below:

Coolant FL22 + 1 bottle of water wetter

Ambient 16 C/61 F

Moving Cruising Speed, water temp: 85C/185 F

At stop and idle (or traffic), water temp circles 93C/199F - 98C/208F

After 10 minutes or so in dle , water temp almost steady at 94C/201F

IS THE ABOVE normal water temps reading ??? Or is it any issue with cooling system ?

^ Thanks for your prompt answer. Before posting my water readings I came through a lot of water temp posts you have made. I have to admit that you know so well the subject water temp because you have touched every aspect of the RX-8 concerning the cooling system.
