Cooling fan replacement

Can the cooling fans come out the top?

Or do I have to drop the radiator like the manual says?

you could get it out from the top, but need to remove more things to get to, like the battery, and in take box....

Well the intake box is already out so I could find the issue. Pulling the battery box isn't that big a deal but would rather not waste time if it's not possible to begin with.

So it'll come out the top your saying?

yes it will come out the top. you might need to take the undertray out too anyways to get the bottom bolts off.

you can get it out from top. but its more pain in the *** than trying to pull it out from the bottom.

this comes from a guy (me) that has pulled/install his 8's radiator 3 times.

Problem is I don't have a garage to work in... Just yard and gravel driveway. If possible I want to avoid going under it to do this.

you just need 4 jack stand and u can do it.

its pretty time consuming especially if u have never done it b4, but ahh its a good thing to do, get a few cold beer, have a few friends around to bs with u. not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
