Coolant Line from Throttle Body goes to.... Where?
There's a coolant line running from an outlet adaptor below the waterpump to the throttle body, and then another second line runs from the throttle body to... where exactly? Say I want to remove this second line - do I need to remove the UIM to get to it? A pic would be great!
thanks

Don't remove it! It goes to the back rotor somewhere. Can't remember where exactly.... Either way, it helps keeps temps even, and prevents hot spots. Very important for the car.

I'm pretty sure it's the hose in the center of the pic running from left to right. That's right where it connects to the iron.

Thanks that does help - I've compromised for now - I'm replacing the front part of the hose and using a joiner into the original rear hose (cut down) - the idea being when I remove the UIM or more later for some other reason, I can do the join back to the rear outlet at that time.
