Coil bolt broken
Ello, I'm in the middle of replacing my coils, and I'm on my last one. Well, as I was loosening the nut, the bolt has snapped. I can't get any thread grip when I put the coil back on, because it busted so far down.
So, I need a opinion, should I just chop the rest of the bolt off, drill through it, and use a the nut and bolt laying around, or must I use the material the current bolt is made of, which I haven't the slightest clue of its composition. If it matters, its the closest one to the front of the car. Thank you so much, in advance. |

I suppose I could do that ;) I see two bolts holding the plate on, so this *should* be a quick easy fix.

Discovered my dad took all the drills, and bits, so I just used a hose clamp on the end near the plug, and tightened it down to the plate, with the half broken bolt holding it in place. Worked like a charm, and my car drives better then the day I got it off the lot 2 1/2 years ago. Awesome! :)
