Cleaning the Engine...

Hey guys, is it save to us CLR on engine parts to get the calcium deposits off and restore the metal...?

What do you guys use to restore the engine to new?

engine degreaser....but really just smells like diesel fuel.....only have done it once thogh...simply green is good from what i hear!
