Chip rumor in rx-8 engine
Hey people, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what this thing is about a computer chip in the computer system of the car that makes it go slower, and if u take it out its illegal? but it makes the car go faster? please if u know any infomation about this please tell me. Thank You

Read all the posts in the canzoomer section and it will tell you all about the development of a performance 'chip' Plan on spending a long time as it is filled with a lot of information, speculations, opinions, etc.

There is no removeable chip in the PCM. It's just garbage info.
