Been driving my 8 for 10 months now (wow ... 10 months already!). Put 12K kms on it so far (~7500mi). My only issue has been intermittent low oil lights when oil not low, got the base pan, np.

Last weekend I got reflashed for M (30.8) PCM cal. On my first highway drive, doing 137km cruising, I get nabbed for speeding. No big deal. As I pull back into highway traffic I can feel the power is not there, like a slow stuttering when I'm on the gas. CEL is blinking. The car was idling for approx. 5 minutes on the shoulder while Officer Killjoy was filling out my ticket.

I have not seen a CEL in 10 months, now on day 1 after M flash I get CEL. Anyone else seeing this after reflash?

**EDIT** Just spoke to my dealer to get the car in to get this CEL checked out, he tells me that after the flash the guys in the shop managed to flood it. I understood this was the primary fix of the "L" and subsequent reflashes ... anyway, word to the wise, pay attention to short runs - keep the car running for > 5 minutes when possible.

 

If the light is blinking it is a mis-fire code

I.E. P0301/P0302

 

Misfire? As in plugs?
