CEL after changing spark plugs?
Has any one experienced this? I did tighten the gas cap and disconnect the battery to reset it but it came right back on. I am using the factory plugs. I had them changed at a local garage that always does good work, but I am wondering if they got a leading and trailing swapped? The car is running fine.

L/F=Leading Front
T/F=Trailing Front
L/R=Leading Rear
T/R=Trailing Rear
L=Leading=Lower
T=Trailing=Top
However, I doubt that this is your problem. Could be that your local garage, who I assume is not a rotary engine ship, screwed up something in the process of changing the plugs or it could be that the CEL is totally unrelated. Have the dealer read the error codes.

I do have an appointment at the dealer but not till friday. I am pretty sure they would have gotten the wires correct, but will check. I was thinking more, maybe the plugs themselves.

did you put shims on the trailing pulgs? there's 2 crush washers before the plugs to recess them.
also there's diffrent temp plugs.. usually the leading are 7's and the trailing are 9's. you can use 9's all around...
