Exclamation Caution!

If your RX-8 has been in a "font end wreck"!
My RX-8 was in a bad wreck like 5 months back and I just got her out of the shop last week. I was told by the guy that owns the shop to let him know if they missed some things and he will fix them. Well they missed a ton of **** and I have a list of things for them to fix. But the worst one was yesterday as I was driving home from my Mom's, what felt like my front right wheel locked up and pulled hard to the right. I had to put 2 hands on the wheel and pull hard to the left like the power steering was out!. This problem almost coast me my life. The front of my car was as if I was trying to throw out the back end in a drift mode and I was all over the dam road. To top it off it had just rained here too. Thank God there was no one to the right or left of me or I was not driving in the far right lane as I would have went up on the curb and hit one of the palm trees that lines the street I was driving down.
I dont know what could have caused this to happen. He said he put a brand new suspension on the front end that was like $5,000. He also said he put now engine covers on but when I looked at them under the light they are all scratched up from the wreck and the list gos on.
So now I have to call the shop and my a$$ off!!! for him to fix my car yet again... I look forward to this day.
If anyone knows what could have caused this to happen pleas let me know.
Thanks for the help.

What caused the problem was you accepting the car back after the shop told you the below. You paid for them to FIX your car, not to be a BETA tester for a bodyshop.

I was told by the guy that owns the shop to let him know if they missed some things and he will fix them.

Could it be a wheel speed sensor problem? That would turn on the DSC and cause all sorts of problems.

If the repairs were done with insurance money, contact your insurance adjuster immediately to report the problems. Better off having them be the intermediary with the body shop, at least initially. Body shops that do insurance work are usually very responsive to the insurance adjusters complaints.

sounds like a seized caliper. if a brake line was not properly secured, it could kink in the suspension and hold pressurized fluid in the caliper. usually you don't noticed immediately, but after a few miles the entire assembly heats up and you'll feel a choppy pull to one side as heat expansion slows that wheel. 9 times out of 10 this will warp your rotor, so be prepared to have the shop REPLACE it (don't settle for having it turned, this is their problem not yours) . if it happens again or to anyone else, get out feel the wheel (not the brakes!!!) if it's untouchable or much hotter than the others than thats your problem.

My 8 is going in to the dealer for a oil change. After they will go through the car and give me a list of things that are wrong. Then its back to the body shop.
