Question carbon removal proceedure

Does anyone know if Mazda has an official engine carbon removal maintenance procedure for the 8? I know about the ol' ATF/MMO treatments and also the water treatment but I'm wondering what if anything Mazda endorses. TIA

What? Only to redline? Man you're missing out. lol.... yeah that's the best proceedure for sure but there are undoubtedly gonna be some 8's coming in for scheduled maintenance with carbon buildup issues. I wonder if Mazda will have an official proceedure this time around. hehe... maybe they'll just test drive the **** out of 'em :D

Oh well.... I guess time will tell with this one.

Doesn't the rotors in the Renesis include a new side seal that doesn't allow for carbon build up?

when they tried the side ports in the early 70's they did have carbon issues, but the renisis needs less premix and can run at a leaner mixture than the carbon seal carburated 70's motors. hopefully carbon buildup isnt a problem, i dont think it will be. it is too soon to tell though
