Wouldn't the first thing that comes to your mind would be to jump the car? You have the original battery and you just listened to music for a long period of time now your car wan't start. It can't be flooding cause it is not turning over so...... come on dude..... a little common sense should kick in.

yes thats the first thing that came to mind but at that time where was no other car home and i was also calling friends to come jump start me. But i thought that with my spare time i would see if it could be anything else wrong, just like you had time to leave a useful comment.

jumping the car may only be a temporary fix. if there is fuzz on the terminals its time to disconnect and clean them.

I would check your battery connections first then get a jump, if your car starts from a jump it eliminates your fuses and leaves you with getting a battery.

^+1, I think if your battery can still be recharged, some Kragen's do it for free. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The battery can be recharged yes, but it wont hold a charge like it first did since it has drained the majority of its power. Learned by experience with my Honda while putting pedals in it on a hot day, and I ended up getting a new battery not to long after. If your vehicle is still under warantee you may be able to get a battery, its commonly 3 years 30,000 some odd miles so you may want to call Mazda to get info on that since I am unsure.
