had rx8 out today, was driving really we stopped at lights and the revs dropped which resulted in car stalling. once car was started it had lost power and felt like it was missing. Feels like there is a blockage somewhere - any ideas?

 

Need more information; year, mileage, transmission, and all the maintenance done to it.

 

Hummm sometimes my baby feels like that too. I've had the dealer adjust my rpm before... I think that's what its called...lol... Anyways I may need them to adjust whatever it is they did before as the car idles a little below 1000.

 

Without knowing any of the symptoms or mileage other than it stalls when slowing as EDZRIDE said, my initial thoughts are to clean/possibly replace your MAF (mass air flow) sensor. You can buy a can of MAF cleaner from any auto store for about $5. If it feels like something is blocked you may have a clogged honeycomb on your CAT converter. I'd need to know more to help though...

There are just too many possibilities until you give us more info.

My swag would be clogged CAT and possible weak coils, but not enough info.
