Car died
hi all,
I was starting up my rx8 today, it started up no worries but everything was so rough that the car was boggling up and down before it shut itself off.
I recently noticed other symptons such as, the car idles really rough even with the rear defrost turned on, or the fans without the aircon turned on, or the heater on.
Any ideas? while i wait for RACV to come and tow my car >_<
Thanks,

i took them off and they all looked normal, not much carbon buildup or anything.
Mazda just called me saying my car had failed the compression test, and requires a rebuild.
I had also noticed my car lost abit of coolant, which was very slowly, but i never noticed any coolant on the floor. It mustve been seeping slowly through a broken seal? qoute me if im wrong, as i do not know much about the engine itself.
As for driving, i found 0 issues aslong as the cars moving, no idling problems or anything (unless the fan or rear defrost is turned on). The power on the car was still tip top, i could get to 150km's before i even realize.
As for hot starting the car, it can be very painful lately. This started about 2 weeks ago, i wasnt sure if it was a major problem. But turning the engine off while hot and restarting it takes almost forever.
I just wanna clarify, is this normal symptons of a dead or dying engine?
