I am unfamiliar with this particular species of brick. Is that a "Mercedes brick" or just a "Peace Brick"? or something completely different.
By the way Laythor...............you were a huge help to the OP.

You should get AAA- as said above, a good locksmith will not damage your car.

Mazurfer, I searched around looking for something helpful and when I cam up empty I decided to go the smart *** route.

seems like someone was trying to get into your car and popped the clip off your door lock/latch assy.once removed you might need to have the clip replaced by taking off the door panel and inspect for damage.hope this helps
