A/C auto climate, noth works, help.

Hi,

I get the car whit broken condenser ( heat ), i bout now new no orginal from Web Genesis Auto Parts ( http://www.genesisautoparts.com/prod...1714XC0665.htm ).
My mechanic change old and fix well, working good only one day was freezing well, next day less, and next day nothing. i com back too him, want find where is problem. cannot, they say its dry tube filter in condenser problem. hmmm.
i go too next mechanic, he put air together whit farmaco, can see where going out freon. next 4 days stop working ( first freezing weary well, next days also, i dint see problems, auto climate works good). i took again he want try find where loosing, hi check fro 425g left 380g in this 4 days.
and he also say its problem this tube ( drying) or valve near evaporator.

next two days i com back to him fix this problem. but he don't know well where is the problem, sometimes start well, next time little cooling lats time.

Where is the problem.

Sounds like it could be a leak at the expansion valve.

Yes, he think the same, but no sure abut expansion valve. if its that, how to fix, its under dashboard, how to change the expansion valve.

just screw it on and off ?

I mean, its really easy to find leaks.

Evacuate it, pull a DEEP vacuum (29 hg+), put some R134a with UV Dye, run it for a day or 2, use a Black light and look around, u will know where the leak is.

after you find the leak, fix it, evacuate it, pull a DEEEEEP vacuum again, I forgot what our system use PAG or Ester oil? put whatever it is back in, just need a few oz, then just charge it with 134a again.
