Battery Cover
I have taken the engine cover off no problem, but now I want to look at the battery and the owners manual says to just pull it up.
I tried to do this gingerly, but nothing happened. I am heavy handed and don't want to break anything, also there looks like some type of hose is attached to the back of the cover.
Can someone help me with this?
Thanks

couple of things:
1. First on the back of the batt cover are two clips. If you lean forward you will see them on the back. Use a flat head screwdriver or strong fingers to lift the tabs out and then pull the BACK of the cover UP first.
2. Second, the front of the batt cover has two indentions. You need to gingerly pull the bottom of the front batt cover towards you and then pull the whole unit up and off.
in summary two clips in back first, then two indentions in front: out, up and towards you.
Edit. The hose - just pull it up out of its retainer and push it aside. Replace hose back in retainer (on batt cover) when finished.
give it a try. Once off, next times are easy.....
