Hi, I've tried to look up similar thread but can't find it. Anyway, I was looking around for parts for my new RX-8, and come across the ARC Titan Hood Panel (http://www.arcinter.co.jp/arc/products/ti/hood.html). Can anyone tell me what this do, other than just for the look?

 

someone else sells something similar. was supposed to help air flow, but I think it's BS.

on the top it saids like

"Radiator Cooling Efficiency UP --"

and its like

"Direct the Airflow to prevent it from Escape"

 

RX-8 already has one of those "air-diverters".

I replaced mine with the GReddy panel 'cause it looks cool. No other advantage.

ARC stuff is nice, but $160 for a sheet of aluminum that replaces an existing part with no benefit?
