Anyone with post-Sept car get their AC fixed?
I've seen the TSB for the AC "amplifier" fix, but according to the bulletin this only applies to cars produced through 09/2003. Mine is from January of this year (VIN 31000+), but I still am noticing the 5-second cycling issue. Wouldn't mind getting it fixed but rather not open a can of worms with the service dept. unless the problem is actually understood and a definitive fix is available. I.e. don't want them tearing the thing apart trying to "figure it out".
Has anyone actually had this issue FIXED to where the AC is working properly, and with a vehicle that is OUTSIDE of the VINs indicated in the TSB? If so, what was done?
Thx.
