anyone have 4A performance numbers??
I'm interested in buying a new RX-8. However, price is a BIG consideration. Does anyone know if the automatic version RX-8 will preform similarly to the automatic RX-7? In 1995 I read an article by C/D saying the manual and auto versions of the RX-7 had the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I have a feeling the auto will be slower however since the torque was higher lower on I thought there might be a chance. Thanks guys.

BUMP , 130+ views and NO replies?? Come on?? surely someone has some information on this? The way I figure it, the 4A RX-8 has more power and torque than my '03 Mazdaspeed Protege in a body that has identical weight. Also the RX-8 is RWD which we all know is better for acceleration. Anyone have any theories if they dont have hard numbers???

hi Matty P, welcome.
two things:
1. pointless attachments are a good way to waste already scant server performance.
2. search, please. the auto is slower by a considerable margin.
i'm sure Sputnik will be in contact with you about your signature. please do something about that.
