first i need to know how to get stock intake off then install new intake any advice thanked

short rams are a bad idea unless you've got some sort of a heat shield.

buy the racing beat duct, k&n drop in, and call it a day.

Any short arm intake will suck hot air from engine compartment in.
Hot air = less dense air = lower HP.

yes.

you want your source of air to come from the area of the car in front of the radiator, not behind it.
