Mine started to squeal It might because the weather has cooled down, my tib use to squeal until they warmed up, but even after driving they squeal

Anyone else.

I know it's just the way brakes are now, but man it sucks.

Yes my brakes started to make noise and its not real bad but its just enough to be annoying

 

I'm assuming Mazda used semi-metallic pads? Would this be why?

 

I just noticed the high pitch squeal coming from my brakes about a week ago, I think it started happening a little after the 3000 mile mark for me.

I'm having the same problem with the brakes squealing. I was also having a problem shifting into reverse and gears 1st-6th hesitated a little bit. It's in the shop now, so hopefully I'll find out whats going on soon.

 

I have 3200 miles now
brakes starting making noise around 2500

 

Same as here, after about 2000 miles it started to make noise.

Also I noticed they started to get a film of rust on them when left for a few hours
