I called RB about a gauge set for my '09 the other day. They said no one there had done anything yet for '09 gauges, at least as far as the CS guy knew. I would not be surprised with the totally anemic sales figures if aftermarket parts were very slow in coming. especially ones with any serious development cost. I don't recall exactly. but I think annual units moved 09/30/08 to 09/30/09 was 3,300. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
But there are vendors on the forum who have a lot more insight than me about this. Maybe they can pipe up and let us know what's coming.

yeah, I've also heard the sandwich plate won't fit in the '09 so it could be some time before we have real-time oil PSI readings from an '09 owner.

but what do I know...
That is all the factory specs I can find at the mo on running pressures, even checked the Factory WS Manual, half useless, all they are today (manuals) are resistance checkers (electrical) if it fails meter test you throw part out.

Here OD...
This is the 09 Oil RETURN pipe, it bolts (2) in the same position as the S1's where the Oil Filter Housing used to go...
But see the Hexagonal or "Allen Key" GRUB Screw, I am thinking perhaps an Oil Pressure Guage fitting could be tee-ed off from this screw??, it is quite easy to access, anywhere else is a nightmare of removal...
What do you think...??

There in no way to get rid of that.

I nicked the photo from the DIY thread on '09 oil change.

I just changed my oil filter for the first time and it sits up inside a cast in shroud so:

There in no way to get rid of that.

I have changed about 5 filters and it is never "easy" like earlier RX's, but I guess it is progress as now all the oil is filtered before it goes through coolers, EMOP's and engine..
You still can't help making a bit of an oil mess..
And yes, almost impossibly to remove the cast alloy flange, I think it serves two purposes as a guard or protector and to prevent owners from installing larger filters?
Here is another angle of the 09 filter set up...and that round thing on top (like a flash light battery) is the OCV Oil Control Valve.

Nice job. I thought about it, but decided not to take the motor out to change the filter, though it might have been easier.
It is in a nasty place. And if you jack it on the left to get to the filter, you can't get all the oil out due to the forward left corner placement of the drain plug in the pan.
I think I need a lift in the garage.
