Anti roll bar replacement

It's your car, but I wouldn't kid you. It's upside down, doesn't need to rest on anything. When you get new links, the same thing will happen again. Maybe then you'll believe me.
One ?, Have you taken out and reinstalled your sway bar ever?

I've replaced plenty of sways on other cars. Two bushings on the crossmember with four screws on it and at the end of the sway is connected to the endlinks. They're all 14mm. I've never done it with mine though, but like I said, I'm getting new sways (both front and rear) along with endlinks.

Ok, well someone (is it used?) has changed it, perhaps when your springs were installed? years ago there were a lot of problems with this, and there are still some threads but most of the pics seem to be gone.
Here's some posts and some pics I found. Even dealers have screwed this up, it's really easy to do, the bar has kinks in it and it's easy to get your bearing off when you put it in, and it DOES fit, which is the killer, as it LOOKS pretty normal!!!
Here's some other links to look at...

Couple of pics of how it should (first 4) and how it shouldn't (last is bent one) look...might post some pics up

i 2nd that. i think its more negative camber on the left side thats making the pull to the left. and having more toe out in the left may contribute more to this... take it to a tire place...shouldn't cost anything for an free alignment check. just aks if they have that available and act like you're gonna get tires.

this post states anti-roll bar replacement, but the driveability problem he has does not concern it. can we drop it with the anti-roll bar thing already...doesn't cause steering driveability issues.
i just really want to find out why are they dicking around with this guy...
and john...you know why already, so lets leave it at that.

Rear Anti-Sway Bar Endlink Trouble
By now lots of you guys know about this sway bar problem. The OP talks about it preloading, and steering his car off one direction. The sway bar IS preloaded because it's bent on one side which makes one side shorter.
I've been trying to get my rear bar to work, and noticed my rear endlink has no upward travel like the op's photo. Some how I got a lowered (new) RX8 with 650 miles on it as a (new) car.
The op's endlink bent because of no travel, and mine has the same geometry. I'm gonna fix it by rewelding the endlinks shorter by about 3/4 inch.
First I'll jack up the rear to see the total travel, then take to my favorite machine shop. I've got a road trip coming up, but I'll send photo's asap.
I believe this is really causing suspension tuning trouble for everyone. some guys talk about tail happy, some people say use no rear bar, and my car feels like no rear bar. You could really chase this in circles by changing springs, shocks, bars, and alignment.
