ALASKA! Can I still drive my RX8 in the snow and ice here?

Will I have to sell it?
Has anyone ACTAULLY LIVED in Alaska with an RX8? I've seen a few around, but I'm not about to follow them home from the mall just to ask them if they drive that car in the winter time, lol.

Will Ibe ok with just snow tires in the winter time?
My husband actully drives the car, but he's been stealing my Xterra recently because he doesn't want to damage the RX8 on dirt roads! I want my Xterra back! He also didn't drive the RX8 in March because of the ice on the roads (but we didn't have snow tires)

Help!

Hi. Im not from Alaska, but there are two sections of these forums which might be more helpful to you. NW Section, which is Northwest USA. And Canada Section.

I know Alaska is US. I'd bet that Canada has similar weather conditions, and there are more ppl on that forum to Assist you.

Sorry thats all I can offer.
