Lightbulb Is a aftermarket oil cooler a must on 8's?

Since they run so much hotter should this be a mod most owner should do, or a least one's who live in hotter climates? I have had a few older RX-7's and I had an oil cooler and water wetter on both.

The MT comes with 2 oil coolers and IMO that should be more than enough surface cooling area for anything short of a racing application. It might be smart to add a second oil cooler to the AT version, but with the different engine configuration, it might not really be necessary. Just my opinion, of course.

I think Mazda has learned their lessons, that's why they put in TWO oil coolers on the hi-powered 8. I think it should have plenty of cooling power even in the hottest weathers.

There is an aftermarket alum. radiator the gives 30% more cooling.

Thinking about getting someday.
