97% Japanese?

does anyone know what and where the other parts are?

When I purchased the 8 the window sticker said the car was 97% (I think) Japanese I was wondering if anyone else knew where the 3% foreign parts are. I'm assuming the tires are one....

This may not answer your question, but the 8 and the new mustang share some parts like the air vents, etc. I don't know if this what they or you are reffering to?

Does the 97% refer to what percentage are japanese parts or the percentage of the car that was built in Japan?

I just mention that because I know that certain parts are installed when the vehicle arrives in port: Appearance package, rims, spare tire kit, etc.

The window sticker should have :

Country of origin, that is where the parts were the asembly took place.

The parts % is where the parts were built. Ill have to check my window sticker when i get home.

A possibility would be the tires in case the car comes with Dunlops.
