I searched but one result was found, Has anyone had any problems going into 2nd gear fast and grinding it... I read where there is a solution but would it be hard to put on

Good find, dude. I didn't know that part was available. I had the 2nd gear frind for a while, but not lately. Either I changed my seat position, tranny is more broken-in, or have been subconsciously "abolutely flooring" the clutch on 2nd gear...

 

If I purchased this part do you think it would be a hard install

 

I have done some thinking on this one and analyzed my own shifting techique. I have had some problems with quick-shifting and have come to this conclusion; if we push the clutch pedal in just a few tenths of a second before we actually move the shifter things go smoother. I have also paid more attention to the techniques discussed in roadracing articles and they seem to improve my shifting.

i have also been wondering on the difficulty of install, and wondering is the dealership would do it, if it was too hard for in the "garage"
