2009 RX-8 Service Highlights (Manual)

Hey guys,

Have any of you received a service highlights manual from mazda? Service Highlights are the books which highlight any and all changes in a model year-to-year, that new information is then blended into the next year's service manuals.

Just wondering if it's available to you guys or not... and of course whether you're interested in it.

Very much so Kevin..

I have the US 09 WS Manual (Paper) I got from Jason at Montgomery Mazda.

I notice the part number in the WS Manual for the Service Highlight (09), but, Jason, does not list it, he could probably get it in for me, I have not gone that far.

I guess as you said it goes into more detail about the new changes...

Would appreciate seeing, maybe buying a copy or info posted on here?

Ash

Here is the 2009 RX-8 Service Highlights Manual:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A0R8UTKZ

This is a free file hosting site that I've never used before so let me know if there are any complications.
Also, with this being free the file will delete if nobody downloads in 30 days.
So could someone host this file for me or tell me what a good free hosting site is that won't expire my uploads?

Well I downloaded it...as a .rar it's a pain, had to install an extracter...why not just put it up as the .pdf it is, it's only ~1kb larger and would be a lot more user friendly?

Anyway...very cool stuff...thanks!! Everything all in one place...instead of reading thu pages and pages of thread on the same subject!!

think this should be stickied, lists every change from series 1 to series2, definitely much needed reference.

It's been known about the change in the MOP. There are oil 3 injectors as appose to the previous 2 that most of us have.

Read thru this document last night and I have to say that is one of the BEST compendiums of RX-8 info on the car's internal operation I have ever seen. Not only the info on the V2 car, but in comparison it gives info on V1. Specs, graphs, lots of spcifics on key elements of the car, how the ECU works, things like that. Much of this info was only dribbled out thru hard research over the last yrs.

Also the fact of them pointing out changes, shows where V1 can be improved, and validates 3rd party mods done to V1.

yup 'tis why i threw the request out there, I've had the info (got the manual in 08, paperback form) only recently did i realize most of the info wasn't public on here. Luckily someone found it.

The '04 Service Highlights book is great too, details all the info on all the rx8 series 1 components.

Thumbs up

Seriously great document - do you mind if I cross-post the link to the UK RX-8 Owners Club (www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk) and MazdaRotaryClub.com sites?

I don't think anyone would mind, I am pretty sure I told those UK guys about the link...I won't pay to use the RX8ownersclub, because they are an ignorant bunch.
Who ONLY Believe what their "Mazda Dealers" tell them!, the other MRC is not much better..some of you poms have to take your head out of your ***!

SO I say go for it, it will help keep the download alive so why not.
