No.
Provision for flat tires is a can of sealant and an air compressor. An optional donut spare is available, if fear of flats outweighs your need for trunk space.

Look at it this way. If you drive on a flat the tire may need to be replaced but if you use the tire sealant goo your tire will need replacement.
If you use the small spare then you lack the luggage room for a trip so a spare isn't important. If you load the car with luggage and the small spare then what do you do with your larger wheel if you get a flat?
I'm thinking of some plug kit to go with the compressor.

If you drive on a run flat tire, that tire needs to be replaced. All a run flat does for you is give you some limp capability.
Besides the mess and ruining the tire, the goop has a good chance of ruining the tire pressure sensor.
I carry a plug kit and belong to AAA.

There are two flavors of re040. The regular re040, and the re040 rft run flat version. Did the '04s come with the rft? How do you tell which one you have? I don't see rft on the sidewall of mine...but I also don't see it on Tire Rack's photo of a re040 rft.

Run flats dont perform as well. The side wall needs to give so you can pull hard turns.
The slime fix a flat crap will cost you 80 dollars to replace your sensor plus the tire.
Like ken said get AAA. If your from a state like texas you have roadside assistance. Your insurance company usually has it for like 1 dollar a month. Get the towing its worth it. Most cell phone companies also do roadside assistance. So how many backups do you need lol. Just keep enough money to replace two of your tires at a time, if you get them from a place like discount tire, or NTB they come with an optional road hazard. I did purchase this through Tire Rack. So you would only have to buy one tire, the other is under warranty. Get it towed, get it replaced. No need to carry that ridiculous spare, or goo crap.

Factory slime, supposedly trashes tire, likely sensor too.
I was advocating the foam stuff, used several times, never trashed a sensor. The can says "Fix-A-Flat". Did have to pay a $15 "cleaning" fee. But, wife was instantly able to drive, not stuck in a parking lot with the kids, and frankly, her moving was worth it even if I had had to pay for the sensor....

I'm one of the weirdos who got the spare tire kit. With the mounting bracket, the remaining trunk space has been sufficient for my needs and I like the idea of having a reliable fix that isnt' going to cost me extra bucks or have to wait for a roadside service call. I know, i'm a silly man.
