2004 RX8 - 192 Correct Engine Oil

Hi Folks
I'm very new to this fourm and to owning a RX-8 (purchased 2 months ago) While i'm loving the car noticed my oils getting low
Can anyone please help me, I really am not sure the best oil to use that I could purchase locally here in the Uk?

Have read about different types for different countries ect I could do with a simple answer of e.g Castrol 5 - 30w

Should I simply top it up or look at doing a full change inc filter evertime?

Sorry to sound blunt I just want the best for my baby

Thank you much appreciated!

Your oil is getting low because it is supposed to. A rotary burns off oil by design.

I recommend reading this thread to get you started.

To be blunt myself, prepare yourself for flaming. Your what oil question has been asked a million times on here and has been fought over countless times. Not knowing that your car burns oil is just basic knowledge and shows that you did no research before buying it.

Good luck.

please hide all sharp objects from the vicinity and quickly seek shelter under a sturdy piece of furniture.

Since it's pretty clear that you need some basic information, I'm going to point you to the new owner's thread: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=202454

Has answers to the oil burning, oil types, and other newbie questions.

And the DIY subforum is the wrong place to ask a question. Please pay attention to where you are creating your thread.

Opieoils.co.uk has all the oils you need and offer discounts to different european forums\clubs.
I would take an Xw40 oil anyway, synthetic and capable of burning clean inside of your housings.
They currently have an offer on fuchs oils, i like them as they mix well with fuel.
