2004 Owners, What To Do To Get To 09 improvements

What sort of stuff can we take advantage from the 2009s if we are some of the first year owners?

I read stuff about new oil injectors, water pumps, etc.. I want me some 2009 benefits but dont want to buy a new car. Frankly I just want my 04 to last as looooong as possible.

What can I do to add to my 8's longevity?

well then you have the same car...

the oil injectors/water pump upgrades are on the engine itself.

Thats what I mean, are those 09 improvements compatible with my 04?

I guess for one, I'm assuming they are huge improvements that will extend the life of my engine dramatically and for two, if I took my car in today because my oil ijector or water pump went bad, would they put in a 2009 part instead?

After all is said and done, my main concern is improving my vehicle's health. I love this car and want to keep chuggin' forever :p

nope

none of the engine updates are usable on our now older version.

you can however, swap the transmission and it will work just fine.
