Angry 1st Problem today

Well now my car has 2440. Purchased May 1st.

I have never had problems(issues) with flooding, AC, etc.

I did however have problems with 3-4 second starts when I first got the car. Took it in and they flashed the car with the "M" and seemed fine.

Today I was driving, car was already warmed up. I was driving for about 10 minutes already on side streets. I pulled to a red light and the car started to idle funny, then it almost stalled!

So what could this possibly be guys? I tried a search and it seems like it could be something with the flooding but I am not sure. Also I thought my gas mileage was okay after the flash but it seems really shitty.

Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Were you low on gas? I am assuming if you have a MT the car was in neutral right?

welcome to M flash...

seriously, lots of people report rough idling on M flash, but i dont know if it'd be bad enough to stall. but what do i know, i'm not even allowed to have the damn thing!

some answers

it is a manual and I am not sure if i was in neutral or 1st. Can't remember. But I just came up.

Did the 20 step and the oil pressure swept.

I remember that someone said that this resets the computer. Not sure if that is true or not but my car is idling nice now.

DIdn't take it out yet so will know more when i drive it a little. I am scared, dissapointed, nervous, upset all in one.

I just want my car to be okay. Just frustrating when it's brand new but i know these are minor problems. Thanks for the help guys!

If it only happened once, then it is quite possible the PCM has already adjusted the fuel map to compensate (yes, the pedal push resets the eccentric shaft signal, so the engine needs to learn any new eccentric shaft decelleration/acceleration patterns from scratch).

Take it in to your dealer if it happens again though.
