Does anyone know where I can get a 12V power source other than the ash tray light and the cig lighter?

 

depends on what you need it for... the cig lighters are you best bet though.. if you have to draw more power than that you had better run your own.

 

What he said. But I tapped into the overhead light for my radar detector. That left the cig lighter socket open to charge my cell phone.

ha you know i assumed when he said cig lighter he meant th eone inthe console since he had mentioned the ashtray. but re-reading it i see he coul dhave not been . asshtray light andcig lighter could be the same place inthe dash
