So I know that in 06 they changed the vacuum layout, and used the previously covered vacuum ports on the LIM. Also, they went with a clear washer bottle instead of a black one. When I bought the car (used, sold as an 05), it had the white washer bottle. Don't know if it had the revised vacuum design though. Engine was replaced under warranty a little while back.

Was it a late 05 change, or just 06+? It was manufactured May of 2005. Don't have the VIN right now. How can I tell? Weird question I know, but I was really confused when I saw the vacuum setup.

 

Washer bottle was changed with the '05 MY. As for the VIN, the 10th character gives you the MY of the car.

 

Yeah, it's an 05. LoL I guess they must have just changed the vacuum layout when they changed the engine? It really confused me.
