'04 coolant level light supposed to come on for bulb check?
My coolant level was a bit low but the coolant light did not come on...shouldn't my '04s coolant level light come on for bulb check when the key is switched on?

When you say a bit low, what exactly do you mean? Was it under the low level line as indicated on the coolant bottle?

Just a little, maybe not enough to trigger the light...that's why I want to know if it's supposed to come on during bulb check

yes, key on engine off you should see a thing that looks like a chefs hat, in red.

Well mine doesn't light up, and neither does my CEL. I guess they've either burned out (very unlikely), or a previous owner screwed with it.
