Is the 04 bose 6 cd changer compatible with the 07 ?
So my 04 Bose in dash 6 disc changer broke. I found one from an 07 with sirius satellite radio. I want to make sure that it will be a perfect fit without having to change the faceplate or rewire anything. Does anyone know exactly if they are both perfectly compatible? And if not what would be involved to change. I am not a techie at all.

You will likely need to change the faceplate because a couple buttons are labeled different... but it won't impact the functionality of the buttons.
I believe (going off of memory) is one year has two buttons, one that is labeled "FM1/FM2" and the other is "AM".
While the other model might have "FM/AM" and "SAT" or something like that.
But other than that, it will still function without any problems.
