03 5 Speed 4 Port Bogs down and dies

Hi guys

Ive recently encountered this issue with my 8

To begin with i have new spark plugs , cables , fuel pump , coils , coolant

I thought this was caused by the fuel pump but that is not the case as it seems.

The car starts fine , idles fine , runs great after its been sitting overnight or after standing some hours. When i have been driving for lets say more than 50km and the car is nice and hot it starts to hesitate on acceleration and cuts off , rpm either goes down to idle or the car shuts off. It will start back up after 1-2 minutes.

In more detail when i try to accelerate it goes up to 3.000rpm , jerks goes to 4.000rpm and then bogs down and wont accelerate more till i let go of the gas pedal and try again
When its not been driven much it redlines fine and if i shut it off and try again after some minutes it also redlines fine on idle. This problem only occurs when the car has been driving for a while and relatively when i drive it hard. It is almost summer over here so temp is 30-35 celcius.

No codes show up on scanner and engine temp is around 75-80 Celcius.

This happened yesterday with half a tank before replacing the fuel pump and also happened today after new pump and it is low on fuel

I will attach a video which shows kind of the same problem only that mine does this after a good drive.

Please watch the video and give me your expert opinions , as the car is my only daily and it works fine on short distances. The guy in the video says it was the MAF sensor , mine was replaced a year ago and it does not give a check engine light or any other warning light.

It's 30-35C in Norway in April? :/

How's your catalytic converter?

What is your intake like? All stock? Any oil in it? Why was the MAF replaced last year?

The car is in Pakistan , f*ckin hot over here

Stock intake with K&N Drop in filter
Filter or intake did not have any oil

The MAF was replaced because CEL lit up and car would not idle , changed the maf deleted the code and it was fine..

The CAT was gutted in 2007 before the car was imported from japan

Today i checked the maf and its not exactly clean , the bulb was covered in slightly oily dust and inside the maf also looked dirty , could this be the culprit?

Yes, that would definitely cause similar problems. There's a special cleaner for MAF sensors, you don't want to throw just anything at it. It's mostly just called MAF cleaner.
