Dam, I was hoping more AT owners would chime in and give me some ideas for mods. Are there only four of us AT owners with FI?

Phil's 8 (supercharger)
09 Factor (turbo)
Blue Knight (turbo)
One more that I can't remember his name with a supercharger. I guess Alzheimer's is seting in.

Seems like there should be more. I'm not counting NOz.

And Nuke0907, get it installed and start a wish list. Us AT guys have to need something if only for the bling

My goal has always been a 300hp automatic that is factory smooth and has just enough bling to be a desired car among my peers. With Ray, Jeff, Erick and the rest of the BHR crew and a couple of the local boys (AJ & Armin) doing all the work, I may yet achieve it.

Funny enough, Phil and I have the same goal. I am looking to throw down 300+ RWHP while maintaining a smooth running engine and improved handling.

I have been wondering about a turbo timer. Do I need one or not? Also, currently I am not using a boost controler or any guages. What things are most people putting gagues on?

My theory for this thread was basically to listen to what everyone wants so I can figure out what I am going to do next. My resources are not unlimited but I can pretty much get what I want for the car. The hard part is figuring out what to get. I am more focused on performance than cosmetic but the sterio was one of the first things to be swaped. The stock one is such a POS if you ask me.

Coincidentally; I installed a line lock yesterday - the brass solenoid next to the catch can.

This allows you to lock the front brakes with a switch in order to burn up the rear tires and warm em. A bit different than a Trans Brake.

But both are useful... sorry for using the terms interchangibly.

Hummmm, now that looks interesting - wonder if it's feasible on an a/t? I see definite use for this in my application also. I need to think about this one(the gears turn very slowly).

Yeah it will work on an AT.... all it does is intercept the brake signal locking the front ones and letting the rears spin freely.

Who's solenoid valve did you use? When checking the ones we normally use I find that break fluid is among the "too corrosive" or "not recommended" items that are on the list of fluids normally used. I have not yet checked the Summit cataloge for a 12 volt unit, n/o and approved for break fluid as that may be where you found it.

Yea, doing donuts in the neighborhood. They think I crazy already cuz I have a sports car, a lot of young people with the same sports car coming and going, racing around the block and spending hours with the garage door up working on it. People my age are supposed to be quieter and more reserved - you know kinda like you . You know my idea may not work worth a dam but no one would be able to say that I did not try!!!
