Yeah, see - that's the rub.
Out here, the cops are desperate to get some busts, but the meth-heads and illegals are too dangerous, so they prey on the folks in the quiet neighborhoods. They'll bust you for jay-walking in the middle of the night.

They were out of my hair last night, though. Apparently, it takes 7 cops to search one Dodge Dynasty with a sole occupant.
They had him cuffed and face down on the pavement, but unsupervised. It just looked like he was taking a really uncomfortable nap.
There were two Chandler cops, one Tempe and 4 Phoenix. That spot is actually where all three meet (I10 and Ray Road), but, come on.

No, only REAmemiya made a custom version for the JDM.
However, the regular kit fits with very little modification.

Yea I saw RE Amemiya has a little module attached to the Greddy EMU for AT model. I'm try to just get that part from them and use MA-10 wiring. Hope this wil l work. MazdaManiac do you have the base map for greddy turbo 4AT?

I have the MAP that 09Factor is using with stock injectors.
I can also port my current MAP to the A/T, but you will need to do the injector upgrade for it to even be close.
There really isn't such a thing as a "base map" for the E-Manage, unfortunately since there are so many ways to wire it.

I believe that the BOV will do its thing to relieve the backpressure when you let off the gas - so if you lift off the gas when you shift then yes it should sound that way.

Yah the BOV will only release its pressure when the Throttle closes so unless you let of the gas every time you drive good luck with that

I will sort of sound like a stick when you shift. When in boost you let off the gas the BOV opens, now with an automatic, the shift is a little quicker and hence the Bov dosen't stay open as long. It dosent stay open as long because of the load on the engine.

I'm think about changing mine out to a HKS SSQ type of bov. I have the Greddy Type RS and it's a Psssssst sound.

For all of the turbo kit related stuff: (kit was used)
$1700 + $150 for the rebuild (Turblown) = $1850

For the Emanage Ultimate: (used from mysql101)
$550

Inovate LM-1: (Ebay new)
$288

The Exhaust system:
$200 for the RP Hi-flow cat (used from Phxtrvs) and $400 for the HKS Hi-Power exhaust (GB from lazi) = $600

for tuning and whatnot:
That still has to be worked out between MM and myself.

grand total so far = $3000.

I have no idea. I know it will beat a MT 8 but thats not a great way to measure.

I'll put on the strip when it has a more consistent tune. Which should be soon.

09Factor... So you really only gained about 50 HP but gained over 100 Tq. Thats pretty good, but I was wondering, is it safe to raise the boost any higher for the 4port without any issues so you could get more Hp? Also, could you add a wastegate so the blow off valve sounds better?

Hey I was curious to find out how much it would cost for a new turbo kit for a 4 port AT? If I got the Greddy kit for $3300, how much more money would I need to put in for it to run perfectly?

'perfectly' would be a reach - i think 'more effeciently' would be more accurate - and as for price - check out mazdamaniac's and CRH posts about the greddy turbo and upgrades since you're thinking about going in that direction...

Roughly $500 for tuning, another $500 for installation and $1,500 for inter-X

The 185WHP and 242tq seem odd at 5psi. Like you would break the transmission before seeing high HP numbers (for an RX-8).

The Autos will always look a bit odd in tq because it will be higher than the MT at the same HP. But, there should be a balance. HP is what will be getting you moving, so you would want to see that as a higher number than shown.

Plus him starting at 135WHP is strange too. That is a bit below the 197HP crank or 160WHPish number he should have been starting with.
