The sarcasm is so thick that you could cut it with a knife. Some of us just want to kick back and have a soda while driving around town. I wanted that and a little speed. There's another reason also, but I promised that I would not talk about her on the forum.
Did I miss one of Erick's engine failures #5? Or was that additional sarcasm?

I've got an entire entertainment system in my car and I don't even listen to music when I drive!
The '8 is underpowered as it is - I couldn't see giving up 1/4 of the power and having to live with that 15 minutes between shifts on the A/T just so I could sip on a can of Monster.
Besides - who drinks while they are shifting? Get up to speed in 6th and then reach over for the soda.

I'm waiting for my bluetooth headset to come in for my cell phone.
Meanwhile, if you can suddenly hear what I'm saying, it means I've come to a traffic light. Then if I quit talking for about 10 seconds, it means my hand that's holding the cell phone is also steering while I shift. After which you'll be able to hear me talk again, but just barely. Also it sounds like I'm in a helicopter.
Sometimes I steer and shift with the same hand, but that doesn't work so well when it's a left or right hand turn.
PS: I rarely chat on the phone while driving.

I'm probably over-serious on this, but it is an absolute pet peeve for me.
When I see someone on the phone while they are driving, I wish the absolute worst things on them.
Seriously, I think it should be absolutely illegal to use your phone while driving and the penalties should be at least as harsh as drunk driving since it is actually more dangerous than DUI.
That aside, I derive so much positive energy while driving that it is incomprehensible to me why you would want anything to distract you from the feeling. I am constantly looking for reasons to go out and drive without an agenda.

I don't mind people chatting on the phone as long as they're still driving properly.
Unfortunately most people drive like ******** when talking on the phone. Slowly moving into other lanes, driving slow in the fast lane, missing the fact that the traffic light turned green, etc.

my tom tom is my blue tooth, lol
and yea, I really enjoy driving, just the feel, even if my car is an AT, it still gives u that feel, however, I do from time to time push my left foot onto a non-exsistant clutch, but, oh well, it was my mistake but I've come to terms with it, I still love my car anyways
back to da topic, anyone here tried the mazport upgrade for the greddy turbo kit?
because I'm thinking of turbo charging my AT sometime next january and I would like at least about 250-280 whp, I don't rly need more than that, just enugh for the fun of driving, and please for the love of god, need an ecu reflash
