I would be checking in to this RE Amemiya Turbo Kit more often if I had the chance to actually get one when it comes out.
But I believe that there #'s are real except the torque. Its just to wierd how they made 325 lb ft out of any rx8.

Bummed, but bring on OU!
I was kind of betting on a typo as well, but those numbers have been published more than once, so I'm not sure. It could be, they are pulling boost all the way to redline, or maybe using a small turbo that runs out of steam. Assuming the power peak is at 7200rpm, it'd be making about 187 lb-ft. That's one strange looking torque curve. I don't forsee a 15+ psi kit going to market however.

I may be mistaken, but I think it is for sale in Japan already. I think that the Greddy Kit mated with a stall converter (with a stall about 1,000 rpm higher) would create an A/T with a sub 6second 0-60 time.

hang on a min I am not sure if $5000 is that much in the US for a bit of kit like that but here in the UK that kinda money buy a mid range plasma TV! or a top notch PC so i really dont see a turbo costing that much as a stupid sum!
i can well see it over here once fitted costing at least double that!
i am willing to wait and see if it arrives on our shore and if it does i will be as happy as larry if not i might have to take a lil trip to Japan in a few years once my warrenty is no more!

I had a japanese magazine in my hands a few weeks back and it stated that this turbo's pressure is at 17psi. I was amazed, cuz its more than double of the greddy kit...
the compression of our engine is 10:1... isn't it too high? any comments?
