finally, shift knobs for AT's

6 Attachment(s)
finally, the burnt titanium shift knobs for AT's are finally available. they were custom made(at my request) by Fortune Auto and distributed by Sage Auto. they are very similar to the ones made by Arc but at a much more affordable price.

here's the list of people who were interested in my previous thread:

1. nuke0907
2. cfm251
3. rodjonathan
4. Rx8 Fanatic
5. Chavy
6. Rx8aby
7. ShellDude

this is a very limited opportunity to get one as there are only 7 left and when they sell, that is it.

please contact myself for pricing and details on ordering them from Sage Auto.

here's some pics installed in my car.

nvrfalter 01-16-2010 02:01 PM

lemme get a price too :suspect:

nuke0907 01-19-2010 10:19 AM

bump!
keep in mind guys, these are not the cheapo "universal fit" shift knobs with the threaded inserts. these are legit, specially made to fit our AT RX8's. they just screw right on.

Chavy 01-19-2010 10:35 AM

can you pm me the price?

nuke0907 01-19-2010 10:45 AM

^PMed.

cfm251 01-20-2010 02:37 AM

cant wait to see urs installed, i will most likely buy one, my only fear is getting this beatiful knob jacked.

MazdaManiac 01-20-2010 02:42 AM

A "shift" knob on an AT? I don't get it.

@!!narotordo 01-20-2010 03:23 AM

Well, I'm serious. Why bother?
Its not like you need any tactile feedback. Just slap it and go.
You do everything else with the paddles, right?

JinDesu 01-20-2010 12:37 PM

I like to play pretend, ok!?!? :crying:

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Not a whole lot of 'shifting' gets done on the A/T's. :dunno:

The piece does look nice though.

JinDesu 01-20-2010 12:48 PM

I would say it's more of an aesthetics thing... because that's what it is to me. And that is why I didn't participate in getting these - because I don't find it attractive. But there's quite a lot of people who do, so why not :dunno:? I mean, I went and got an aftermarket strut bar just because I like how it looks.

nuke0907 01-20-2010 12:52 PM

i actually use the knob. i usually never use the paddles.

km1346 01-20-2010 06:53 PM

Pm me the price too if there are any left.

nuke0907 01-31-2010 10:51 AM

nuke0907 01-31-2010 10:52 AM

cfm251 02-04-2010 04:04 AM

Ditto,

when I first got mine the paddles were cool, but if you come from a long line of stick shift cars you seem to reach for the shifter anyway!
