all you get from Cobb is an AT map with factory programming so no, there is not any magical performance change

Unless you know how to tune it you are not likely to see any gain at all.

I could use some help with my Cobb. I bought in from a local with an 04 AT mine is an 05 I can't get any maps to flash which from what I understand it is because they are for an 04 and not my 05 (let me know if I'm wrong) What I don't get is why I can't marry/install it to my car why is that?

the answers are here, we already discussed it in detail in this thread so all you have to do is read up

unless you're trying to tell me that giving you all the info in the thread isn't good enough, that we also need to hand feed you grapes from a silver bowl ...

Not saying that at all. My response was serious, I read the thread in its entirety when I got home since I hated trying to read it mobile.

Cobb on 04 AT

Had my Motor rebuilt by Pettit, Street Port etc.. Then my mechanic cleaned out the stock Cat of that nasty stuff That creates back pressure.... It was throwing miss fire codes even though it was running fine.. Installed the Cobb, re mapped the ECU.. No misfire codes, no issues so far, the AT is never going to be fast.. Unless you turbo or supercharge it, but it's much quicker than stock now.. .. Dreaming of a turbo now.

And is particularly the case on the auto. i've got far too many dyno sheets to illustrate it.
