1000 peeps have posted what the improvement is with the Cobb AP, and you want one more? How many friends test drove your car before you purchased it? If you haven't figured it out by now, each 8 is a different animal and each respond differently to any mod. Having an AP is a commitment and will need attention now and then by a competent tuner. If the $ is so tight you may need to consider another mod.

I understand exactly what your sayin phil and what you were trying to get at, I just enjoy looking at things like this. I'm just a college student who still has a ton to learn so the more info I look at the more knowledgeable I become.

Auto to manual swapped
Well since the Cobb has been discontinued :/ the only way I'll be able to get one more than likely is going to be through eBay(don't get funds till around 7stock time) since all the ones on eBay are manual tuned, would I be able to get it retuned from MM after paying for the calibration cost of course?

MM will still tune maps for you after paying the claribration fee. So not a problem there.

Cobb didn't do any in-depth tuning for AT's and the AT crowd is a little smaller when it come to preformance mods. So they just stayed with the MT designation.

Ya 09Factor I'm hoping the prices will be more or less the same for them around that time. College funds take a while to come in so that's the reason for the wait. Kinda wish Cobb hadn't cut us off until after this year but we can't all get what we want :/

I have to buy the cobb without the MM tune since I won't have enough money at the end of july. sucks.
i'm probably going to make the next socal dyno day though and get a good tune then.
