what is better?
I was wondering what is better for my rx-8, a supercharger or a turbo kit, i was looking at getting the Esmeril turbo kit but i dont know if i should go with them, and i was also looking at some of the supercharger kits, what is the best supercharger kit and what is the best turbo kit for the rx-8.

yeah thanks man, but do you know if a turbo is better for the rx-8 or is the supercharger, because i have been hearing stuff like that the turbo makes the engine run to hot and stuff, or is it just really on what i like better.

Turbo:
- Typically makes more power than a supercharger and can make more than one set amount
- Is quieter
- Runs hotter and turbine spins much faster. Because of the heat more precautions must be taken when installing and running a turbo kit
- Typically not installed on own but by a professional
-After all is said and done, typically more expensive than supercharger
Supercharger-
- Less power provided than a turbocharger and can make only a set amount without adding more belts
- Cooler and therfore less precautions must be taken when installing and running a supercharger
- Not necessary to have it professionally installed
Even though it may seem the benefits of a supercharger outweigh the turbo, I'd still prefer turbo. To me it seems the rotary was made for turbo, not supercharging. Plus, more power is more fun right?
