You bumped a 10 year old thread that was bumped back alive several years before that with the same question.
Just let the dead rest.

At the very least you could have tried to add/update information yourself?

@wcs I did not whine, I said it would be nice to have an update.
I am starting my own build, investigating a lot, not much access to parts here. As soon as I have an idea I how to at least start I will definitely contribute.
Information is sometimes contradicting and very old. And there are a few people still playing with rx8. Trying to get attention of people who are just getting into rotaries or currently working on one and do not have 16 years on this like you do. Is that a problem or did I violate any unwritten forum rules?
Seems rx8s hype is dying and I thought the idea was to build community...

Alright,
Well you basically answered you're own question. Everything is old. Why? Because there really aren't any reliable Vendors to buy a kit from, going on 10 years or so (guessing).
And depending on who you ask you may hear that there has never been any reliable vendors for turbo's kits.

You want to figure out where to start read all the build threads, there are quite a few excellent threads that will help you out with you're own build.
Unless you want find someone selling a used kit which maybe a custom solution or a used Greddy kit etc

Unfortunately you're correct in information being old and contradicting and again unfortunately for the most part you're going to have to read and read and read some more.

Try not to bump old threads unless you have something to add.
There are so many threads you could bump saying oh this would be nice if someone updated the information.

Good luck
