Just curious. Is there any RX8 Renesis T51R out there? Pretty obvious there is alot of rx7 with a T51R turbo kit, but for some reason I cannot find any information on t51r rx8 turbo tuning.

From what i heard, the Renesis is unable withstand high boost level.... Many recommend keeping it under 10 psi. But those news are 2007... Thats all the dirt I found on google =\.


Just want to limit my options. If i can actually make it work on a renesis, I rather not put a old 13b-rew engine on a rx8 and spend more money for unnecessary resource... Just Fyi.

There is much info on the subject of turbo charging the 8. Look through some of the many threads before you ask a question or start a new thread. The search button at the top is your friend. Their are actually some really cool turbo builds going on at this very moment. Many people run boost over 10 psi. My target is just a bit above that.

 

Because anybody who knows what they are doing would not choose that one.

 

Hks t51 is just A garrett gt42r with custom housings. Your far better off buying a gtx42r now(same as above car).
